The Waldschlößchen is located on the southern slope of the Teutoburg Forest with a view of the idyllic community of Lienen. The house was built in the fifties. In the sixties and seventies it was extended by the hotel, a fireplace room and meeting rooms. In 1995, the property became the property of the Sandkämper family. Thus, it is family-run for more than 20 years and undergoes a steady loving development through new ideas. The beautiful location of our Waldschlößchen below the Hermannsweg offers hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers many opportunities for sporting activities and hobbies. Today, the Waldschlößchen is start and also destination for the well-known Teutoschleifen. There is also the possibility to visit the indoor swimming pool in the immediate vicinity of the community. After a nice day, you can indulge in our restaurant with culinary delights made from local produce. For our guests there is a year-round offer to enjoy our large terrace with a beautiful view of the Münsterland. In winter, we offer a mulled wine or a hot chocolate to warm up. In the summer we like to grill for you. On weekends and public holidays, our house is a popular getaway for everyone. You are welcome to enjoy the selection of our homemade pies and cakes. We also offer a rich breakfast buffet every Sunday. You are welcome to rent our hotel for meetings, seminars or celebrations of any kind. We are looking forward to your visit!
